All technicians opening the refrigeration circuit in automotive air conditioning systems must be certified in refrigerant recycling and recovery procedures to be in compliance with Section 609 of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. The MACS online training and certification program includes a presentation of EPA approved recovery and recycling procedures followed by a 25 question test.   Don't forget to download the MACS certification training manual from the MACS website.
